The Carter Center held the international seminar "Electoral Campaigns: A Comparative Look at the Hemisphere" to provide an overview of regulation of the conditions for electoral campaigns in a select group of countries in the hemisphere. National and international experts delivered presentations and discussed the conditions under which electoral campaigns are run in Brazil, Colombia, The United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
