This is a report from EastWest Institute's fifth annual Worldwide Security Conference held in February 2008. A diverse array of leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America addressed many aspects of global security, including the importance of language and discourse, the role of education, the need to better use existing structures, and the importance of a collective responsibility to ensure security.
