clear CIAO Focus, December 2002: US Policy and Iraq
clear
The Iraqi government maintains its stance that they are not producing weapons of mass destruction. Meeting the December 8 deadline set by the United Nations Security Council, this week Iraq produced a 12,000 page dossier, referring to it as an "honest, truthful and comprehensive" report of their weapons programs. The governments of the United States and Great Britain remain highly skeptical about the contents of the dossier, but as of yet have not revealed evidence that would prove Iraq has an active weapons of mass destruction program.

In conjuction with leading scholars, CIAO has created a new special section on US Policy and Iraq. With exclusive papers, maps, texts of UN resolutions and annotated links to outside resources, this section brings together materials from CIAO scholars and partner institutions. The Special Section on Iraq provides a strong basis for classroom discussion.
