The 2013 FOCAS Forum convened representatives of the maker community, corporate and non-profit leaders, public officials, and citizen leaders with the goal of finding creative ways to encourage innovation and foster demand in the open governance field. The report emanating from this Forum, “Toward the Next Phase of Open Government” written by Panthea Lee, is a series of six chapters that examines the current barriers to open government and provides creative solutions for advancing open government efforts.
